Samudra Vijay, Ph.D.

Co-Founder, CEO

Samudra has over 15 years of experience in the IT and OT fields. His areas of interest are industrial control systems, industrial internet of things (IIOT), virtualization, network security, software defined networks.

Samudra has a PhD in Engineering Systems from MIT and bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, and Masters in Nuclear Engineering from India.  Samudra has worked with customers in many verticals including manufacturing and has helped identify opportunities to implement digitalization and improve productivity. Samudra is an active member of the International Society for Automation (ISA) and has been invited to speak at national and international trade and industry conferences on the topics of Industrial IOT and Cybersecurity.

Abhi Muthiyan

Co-Founder, CTO

Abhi is an experienced technology team leader, delivering innovative solutions in the enterprise software market. Abhi holds an MBA with specialization in Innovation Management from North Carolina State University.

At Patagonia Health, Abhi architected a multi-tenant SaaS platform for Electronic Health Record (EHR), Patient engagement tools, and billing. EHR is a mission critical application for a health organization. Previously at Symantec, he designed, created products for network management, storage management used by Fortune 500 companies. Abhi holds several patents in network discovery and management.

Simmi Prasad

Sales & Strategy Advisor, Varidx

Simmi Prasad is an executive and leader in the Wealth Management and Finance industry with 20+ years of experience. Most recently, she was Market Managing Director for the Institutional Asset Management group for North and South Carolina with PNC Bank. Prior to this, she was Senior Vice President at Bank of America Private Bank.

Simmi has an MBA with concentration in Finance from Campbell University and graduated from the Yale University School of Management Executive Education Women’s Leadership Program. She is a member of the Institute of Certified Bankers and holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor designation.

Simmi has a strong track record of volunteerism and philanthropy in the community. She serves on the Finance committee for North Carolina Museum of Art Foundation board and is the President of the Board of Advisors of Community Foundation of NC East. In the past, Simmi has led the Carolinas chapter of The International Entrepreneurs – a global entrepreneurship non-profit organization and served on Advisory Boards at organizations such Northwest Cary YMCA, NCIAP People’s Medical Care, Cary Community Foundation, Hum Sub, and Lundy Fetterman School of Business board.

Simmi is passionate about financial literacy and empowerment for women, entrepreneurship, youth sports.

Rajeev Dubey

Sr. Automation Engineer

Rajeev Dubey is a Senior Automation Engineer at Varidx, He leads initiatives in developing innovative solutions for test & measurement applications, IoT, and engineering components of smart city platforms.

Rajeev specializes in machine vision, AI, high-speed data acquisition, sensor fusion, automation, and data analysis algorithms. Proficient in LabVIEW, WinCC OA, OpenCV, FEA, C++, and Python, he excels in tackling complex engineering challenges for industrial automation. His contributions support teh company’s mission of developing advanced solutions for test & measurement applications, IoT, and smart city platforms.

Bob Monaghan

Account Manager

Bob Monaghan completed his undergraduate studies at teh esteemed University of North Carolina, where he achieved a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Throughout his professional journey, Bob has had teh privilege of working with several companies, allowing him to gain profound insights and invaluable experience across diverse areas of business operations. Bob’s expertise extends to the development of robust sales organizations and forging strategic partnerships. With his exceptional aptitude for sales and marketing, he has successfully built high-performing sales teams that consistently exceed targets.
