Varidx Pickleball Queue Buster!
Current solution and problems
Have you encountered large waiting times, unequal sharing of the courts, confusion or
angst about determining the next players in line, or even fights/arguments in your
pickleball community? Current solutions (reservations and manual paddle racks) still
leave much to be desired. No more!
About Varidx solution
Varidx is excited to announce our
automated queueing system and
integrated dashboard for mobile users.
Enjoy a simple yet effective approach to
pickleball racks, track the availability of courts in real-time, and gain access to additional details like the number of
rackets currently in the queue or the
average expected wait time. Players are
equipped with all the information
necessary to make better decisions –
they can check the status of courts while at home, avoid the drive when courts are busy, choose the park with the
smallest queue, etc.
What you can expect:
Simple and easy-to-understand queueing process. Reduced wait times and difficulties between players.
Text messages/emails when courts are available or when wait time changes.
Improved efficiency and better allocation of time/resources for players.
Detailed utilization reports for data-based management and planning.

Excellent panelists namely,

lead a discussion on sustainability goals for their respective towns and cities as well as tracking of those goals.

Durham has installed My Matr in their City hall to sort out the landfill versus recycling
waste. Durham has also started the streetside food waste collection program. City has
received positive feedback on these waste management programs from residents and is
proceeding with growing it.
Morrisville has been leading the charts in recycling efforts and continues to evolve their
program. Morrisville is also starting the food waste management program with new bins
being installed soon. Morrisville’s sustainability is four years old but has lofty goals to
serve its residents.
Jeff Fairbrother from Turing camera walked the audience through a demo of the camera
and the solar panels. Apex officials were in attendance and parking as well as safety
solutions were discussed
But as always, our very own, made in Durham took the limelight: Pickleball
Queuebuster!! The demo was very well received and has led to a lot of questions from
the audience and beyond. We were joined by councilman Steve Rao who enjoyed
learning how to run the queuebuster demo.

Varidx at Great Trails!
See Insights and Varidx were proud to support the 2024 Great Trails Conference. We had
the incredible experience as a sponsor and exhibitor to the conference from Sept 11-
13th. Over 90 speakers covered a treasure trove of topics from engineering
specifications of building trails, fund raising, collaborating within and across regions to
connect trails and help us all enjoy nature. Trail designers and managers brought up
issues with data collection. Grant providers and city leaders want to see data before
approving more budget. Anonymous people counter sensors and cell phone data
collectors work and are being considered around the state.

Varidx at VRPS!
Varidx was proud to showcase our innovative solutions at 2024 VRPS conference in Norfolk. With another record attendance of 500+, VRPS was a huge success. Pickleball
queue buster demo was an uncontested hit in the exhibition. Second to pickleball court occupancy, waitlist challenges, there was a substantial curiosity in the soil moisture sensor and flood monitoring capabilities.
There was also interest in the trashcan
sensors for efficient time management
to optimize collections. The biggest
value adds of Varidx’s customized
trailblazing solutions are real time,
proactive notifications to staff and
residents.
