The Sustainability Initative for the Town of Morrisville, is tasked with integrating sustainable practices into internal programs and processes, including facilities and fleet. As part of the Smart City initiative to help develop a program in support of clean energy, environmental stewardship, and community engagement surrounding sustainable practices including the integration of data solutions. Kimberly will be walking us through the sustainability program evolution and goals..

City of Durham has been trailblazing in smart waste management and is an early adaptor of My Matr. Lyndsay and her team have invested in smart waste management. We look forward to hearing from Lyndsay on this partnership for sustainable future.

My Matr and city of Durham’s partnership promises to be a popular smart waste management solution. John Starke will be sharing the idea and his journey to build this smart waste solution.

Digging deeper into smart and intelligent approach to sorting different waste types and solutions for their disposal, this session is meant to be interactive with opportunities to ask questions on unique challenges. IoT, AI, cloud, big data and analytics all play a role in intelligent waste management solutions development caused by challenges intensified by growth in population and urbanization.

Sustainable Infrastructures segment will be focusing on all-in-one outdoor solar powered video surveillance. No hassles of constant battery changing or internet needed. These robust outdoor devices are cloud based and use AI technology for detection of faces, clothing color, vehicle makes, models, camera plates, etc. Revolutionary product can be a powerful safety tool for schools, parks, storage, etc.
